Howard Miller Denny came to Greencastle, a number of years ago from the Bainbridge vicinity. The widow who was Miss Nellie Sheets; two children and the mother, Mrs. Viola Denny survive. He was 35. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, with Internment at Brick Chapel. He died in the same accident as Carl J. Faller and Roy Arnold.

Howard Denny, 36, died in a Greencastle Hospital following the crash of his car into a cement bridge abutment near ther ein which two friends, Roy Arnold, 41, and Charles Faller, 60 were killed.

Howard M. Denny, only child of Edwin R. and Viola Miller Denny, was born north of Fillmore in Floyd Township, June 19, 1901. He died in a fatal accident near Cloverdale November 21, 1936. He was 35 years, and 5 months of age. On December 19, 1923, he married Nellie Sheets of Greencastle. He also leaves two small daughters; Virginia May age 12 and Mary Ann age 10.
